Federal Boulevard eats cars. Between Hampden and Oxford it's one of the meanest arterials in the metro, and a good share of our calls on this side start with somebody clipped in a left turn or shut down in a through lane with traffic still moving past. We work those scenes off the shoulder when we can, flatbed if the wheels won't roll, and we don't drag a damaged car further than it needs to go. Lockouts and dead batteries in the River Point lots off Santa Fe are the quieter half of the job.
The other half is parking. Older apartment blocks and the mobile home parks here run permit-only, so authorized-parking-only tows are constant. We follow the notice and photo rules on those, every time, no shortcuts. If your car vanished from a signed lot, call and we'll tell you straight whether we have it.
