Towing in Castle Rock, Centennial

The outlet mall keeps us busy. Dead batteries, keys locked in a running SUV, the odd bump in the parking rows. The rest comes off I-25 between exits 181 and 184, where the grade toward Monument Hill starts and drivers who were fine lower down suddenly aren't.

Weather at 6,200 feet under the Rock does its own thing. CDOT closed I-25 south of Founders Parkway in the 2019 bomb cyclone and again in March 2021, and Founders drifts shut toward Elizabeth in serious wind. The Meadows, Terrain and Crystal Valley Ranch are steep and curbed, so a sideways AWD SUV or a driveway trailer needs a winch, not a strap and optimism.

Working the I-25 corridor and the Founders Parkway side

My car got towed after a crash on I-25. How do I get it back?

Depends who ordered it. Douglas County Sheriff and Castle Rock PD run rotation lists, so your vehicle may not be with us — call with the location and time and we'll tell you where it went.

Can you reach me if I-25 is closed?

Not through a CDOT closure — that gets a wrecker stuck too. We'll come from whichever side is still open, or stage nearby and move when it reopens. Give dispatch your exit number and direction.
